Hito
HITO is a project managed by Andrés Alonso Architects, where I served as the designer. This module was conceived at the onset of COVID-19 when we realized that everyone was working remotely without a suitable space in their homes. The idea was to design a smart, transportable office that could be purchased online and delivered to one's home. This smart office, viewed more from an industrial design perspective than traditional architecture, features meticulous details. The interior is crafted from wood, while the exterior is made of aluminum, akin to a car, designed to blend seamlessly with your home or surroundings. Inspired by designers Jony Ive (Apple) and Dieter Rams, my role in this project involved conceptualizing the design and overseeing the implementation and growth of the module. These modules come in various versions and sizes, serving different functions such as housing, office, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, all maintaining the same design aesthetic.
